CHAT ROOM
I used to go into the main chat room all the time but have not for a long time. They have kind of an attitude in there that if they do not recognize your sign on name they basically ignore you. As for the chat room on the IL board I have never been in it. I am usually too busy in the evening when I am at home.

FYI-Before I found the Illinois board, I found the chat room. I was desperate to make some contact w/WLS patients and get info. I was ignored, as Christine described, and frankly shocked by the amount of "smut" conversation and very little to do w/WLS. I stay away from them and stick to the IL board. I checked a few of the chat rooms when I first started on OH, one time on the main chat there were people chatting to me but they were all quite a bit younger than me and had already had surgery so I didn't feel like it was a good fit for me. Other times was just ignored.... so who cares...LOL. Paulette
